My quick fix would be to rig a pulley off the back of the top engine access hole and fold down the rear seat. Then thread some nylon twine from the front dash to the pulley and back to the throttle arm. My arm has a ball on top of it that would cradlllle a nicely tied loop of the twine and then girth hitch it to the ball and pullll on the string for throttle acceleration.
