I'm not familiar with your vendor (you don't mention who), and my experience was with Aircooled T1s, which vary a great deal from engine to engine with the amount of age, whether the heads are stock or aftermarket, whether they have been decked or not. Lots of variables, and almost all the ads you see say "Fits all 1300-1600 engines." Which is hard to do considering the head differences, and still aligning and sealing with heat exchangers and carb heater tubes.

Well as Ron stated "Most of the extractor type systems, such as the Bugpacks, Empi's, and Thunderbirds, are of relatively thin metal and in many cases are crimped rather than welded on the ends." So a little "shaping" with a mallet, or torch has usually been required to line up with every T1 I've worked on.

And as I said before, this is for aircooled engines. I must plead complete ignorance concerning wasserboxers (and some other things).
