Just replaced all the belts on our 91 Carat...wife complained about a "noise" the day before yesterday, then last night drove home after alternator and coolant warning lights came on from her art class...luckily a short local drive. Apparently, the alternator/water pump belt parted and took out the A/C compressor drive belt along with the compressor pulley shield. So...what's the tension spec on the A/C compressor and the power steering belts? The alternator/waterpump belt tension is given in Bentley as 10-15mm or 3/16-9/16...which don't seem to be converted correctly (10mm is ~.4in while 3/16 is ~.2in ...).
