Sorry to have to dissagree with you chris, but there is much reseach on the front spoiler/air dam. At slow speed the improvment is not noticable. At speed above 50 mph, there is a considerable amout of "air drag" from the under carage of a vehicle, that when removed, make a considerable diference in fuel economy. Note the amount of vehicle from the early 80's on that have even a small air Dam. Need I say more. On My 240z You can axually feel the difference.
