Well, I bought a used 091 for $300 and was quoted a price of $400 - $450 for a rebuilt 091 transaxle from three different sources. I had this used 091 transaxle installed and a new clutch installed as well as new CV boots installed all round for $450 labor and parts (excluding the actual cost of the clutch kit and the CV boot kits and the used tranny). I don't know about what "industry standard" prices are up there...but here in Arkansas and in the Carolinas... the prices below seem excessive to me. PS: If anyone wants a busted 091 tranny to rebuild for cheap, I have one wrapped in plastic sitting on the floor here. Robert S.
