If I let my van idle for more than about 15 min. (outside temp apx. 70 deg. F) the radiator fan will turn on low speed for apx. 3 min. and then turn off and cycle on and off every few min. after that. The needle peaks apx. 2-3mm above the LED in the temp gauge.
