Thanks for all the suggestions. Whoever pointed out that improperly seated push rods were the culprit was right.... Some Grease Monkey (me:-) Didnt get two of the push rods seated in the lifters so it was trying to run on 2 cylinders. The problem is corrected and its purring like the proverbial kitten.

I dont know what I'd do without the list thanks again Don
