Do I remember hearing numbers like $950? > You do. that is for a rebulit from someone like Fast German Auto (where I got mine @ $950). The core is 600 but it has to have servicable ring and pinion. They asked me to pull the bell and look for broken or missing teeth, smooth wear, and no sharpened teeth. After that it was all good. You don't say if you have a synchro. If you do then it'll be more like the 1700.00 I've heard.
