I have a couple of friends locally that are looking to sell their nice '88 Westy. The van is white with grey velour interior. Interior and pop-top are in excellent condition. Exterior is in very good condition with no body damage but some minor seam rust. The van has 77k original miles on the body and the motor has only 27k miles on it. The original owner ran over something in the road and it punctured a coolant line. My friend has all of the reciepts for: A VW factory rebuilt motor at 50k miles, all new coolant lines and even the pipes that run under the van and expansion tank, new clutch and pressure plate, new power steering pump, manual tranny just serviced and new shifting linkage, and a bunch of other stuff that I am probably forgetting (over $7,000 worth of work done). So the mechanicals on this van are excellent. I just drove it today and the ride is very nice and firm, the van rides like new basically. AC (works) and power steering. AM/FM cassette radio (Clarion) A really nice van but these folks are retired now and are looking for a bigger camper to spend alot of time on the road. Needs a new pop-top seal. Asking $12,000 Please email me about it if you are interested in the van and I will relay the message to them (trying to weed out non-serious buyers). The van is located in southern New Jersey. Thanks Ken Wilford John 3:16
