Brian, et al;

The ONElist vanagon list was put together in order to sustain the list when Gerry made the move to BC. Since Gerry has successfully been transfered, the ONElist list just sits idle most of the time. I was going to delete it, but being lazy, I hadn't gotten around to it and now that it's proven its worth as a backup, I probably won't. You can subscribe to it if you wish at: http://www.onelist.com/subscribe.cgi/vanagon and remain "in the loop" when Gerry goes tango uniform. It's really a personal decision.

There was some concern about the "advertising" threatened by the ONElist business. FWIW, the only "attribute" that is selected for that list is "autos - car clubs" so potential advertisers would have to have a v. narrow focus to want to target us. (And we might be interested...) As I understand, this advertising would be in place of the banner that is appended to the bottom of each post. Not, IMHO too obtrusive.
