Hello fellow listees,

My baby is acting strange (1987 Vanagon Syncro 130,000miles). Symptoms started last week when driving a two hour drive on the highway, she started bogging at speed 40min into the trip (like someone had squeezed the fuel line). I kept on going and so did she but every couple of minutes there would be a sudden jerk (/bogg/hesitation...). When I arrived at my destination I drove in the city for 3 days with no problems. Then it happened again 1 1/2 hours into my trip back home. Then, like before once I got off the highway, at lower speeds, it didn't happen. Three days later I drove 2hours back to the city and did not have any problems (none of the bogging/hesitation). Then I drove back home and (again) 1 1/2 hrs into the trip it started bogging. I got home and now it is doing it even driving around town. I have to drive back to the city on Monday and am freaking out. Help!!!!!! At first I thought it was water in the gas but I have filled the tank up 3 times now since then and it is still happening (now more than ever). Any idea's? All suggestions much appreciated!!! Thanks, Tom 1987 Syncro
