WHICH belt replacement requires "the cooling system...to be opened up"?

This magical process can be accomplished on an AC+PS equipped 2.1L (THREE beltz) with the ***careful*** disconnection of the small hose at the plastic nipple above the rear coolant/ oil access door. NO coolant was lost in this process as I carried it out earlier this week.

Perhaps I need a 100Mhz bus to appreciate the procedural difference...
