Subject:      Smog Test/ Speedometer (can't get in the archives)

I know this has been discussed before, but I've been unable to get into the
archives for over a week. Please forgive me for bringing it up again.
I need to pass a CA smog test this weekend. Can anyone pass on some
proactive measures I could take to maximize my chances of passing?
Also- the gears slipped off my speedometer again, can someone forward the
repair procedure for gluing them back on?

Please reply privately to be considerate of those who don't want to see this
discussed again.
