Subject: Re: Best Car Alarm?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi Bill

AS a recommendation for a car alarm, I would strongly recommend the DEFA brand, if you can get it in the US. It is a norwegian company, they make car alarms and heating systems. Me mom has one of these alarms in her '94 Vento, for the four years she has had this car, it has only produced ONE false alarm, that wa because of the neighbor's cat jumping in the open window. This type of alarm only has a microwave scanner of the interior, door, hood and trunk contacts, as well as a glass break sensor. If you can get it, I strongly recommend it. Prices here in Norway are from $250 up.
