Hi, I would think that moving the stub axle out 25mm would cause a
problem with the CVs. From setting up off road race cars and Bajas I
have found that if the distance between cvs is off that much from the
correct distance for a given drive axle length it will pull the cv
apart. This problem can be solved by putting a 25mm spacer(in this
instance) between the cv and stub axle thus getting back to the same cv
spacing as stock. A better answer is to space 12.5 mm from the tranny
drive flange and 12.5mm from the stub. There is also the possibility of
getting new axles that are 25mm longer. They are available for about
$150
