Subject: Waterboxer heads needed
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I just located a 86 Westy for my sister to replace her 78 Westy which is getting old. She and her husband live in Lake Tahoe and they are ready for a Camper with actual heat. The 86 has a typical head sealing problem where combustion gases are sometimes leaking into the coolant. The heads are to be pulled and resealed, but I would like to find some new heads in case they are needed. Is there more than one choice for new heads and what are the considerations? What country of origin do people recommend or otherwise? Are there other likely problems that may be encountered?

TIA Mark Drillock
