I hate false alarms, too.  My Clifford system has a "dual zone" piezo
sensor which detects vibration.  The first "zone" is more sensitive and
activates a loud, but short, SQUAWK from the siren.  The second "zone"
detecting more vibration sets off the alarm.  The first squawk happens
when diesels roll by, or parking bumps occur, or pedestrians lean
against your bus.  However, you can set the sensitivity of both "zones"
separately with the remote control very easily.

There is also a False Alarm Control and Test (FACT is their trademark)
so you don't experience REPEATED false alarms.  Say, you park next to a
park for a few days.  On the second day the park is turned in to a jack
hammering construction site, or an airport.  Before sounding the alarm a
second time, the system checks for another activated trigger to verify
an intrusion is in progress.
