With $20 bucks from 700 people we could buy enough computer hardware to
convince
Volkwagen to start making Vanagons again! We could have 24 hr. streaming audio
and video showing various fix it jobs. Shockwave Vanagon games and how-to
tutorials.
Numerous mailing lists. Blazing fast archive searches! Sell banner space to
various
Vanagon parts houses...
I'm willing to donate some to the cause if it is deemed worthwhile. This list
has taught me
a great deal and saved me a lot of bucks. But lets be sure that something NEW
is needed.
Why not just a new hard drive or whatever? Hell, if you want my opinion I vote
to go
Mac....But I think that those who actually controll Gerry should decide. (this
includes
the present and previous owners of the server, as I certainly don't know what
Gerry is or was or could be.)
I certainly would hate to see the list degrade, but I wouldn't mind having two
or three or many Vanagon lists. So whatever is decided, count me in...
