My van's starter doesn't seem to be working, but it actually is. The problem is that when I try to start it, nothing happens...no selnoid click or anything. I just put the starter back in after replacing the selnoid, so that's not the problem. I can start it using a starter switch attached to the starter, so the starter/selnoid works, but the exciter wire (or whatever you call it) that triggers the selnoid isn't getting any power. That's why it will start when I use a starter switch. What should I look for to fix this? If you have any clues, please let me know ASAP since I'm trying to get this done TODAY.
