It looks like the steering rack on my son's Syncro has taken a bullet to the head. I haven't seen it yet, but he says the boots are shredded, fluid is leaking and it makes a screeching noise when you turn the steering wheel. So, looking in the Bentley I see a diagram of the system but not a step by step removal and replacement. Anybody have some info you could e-mail me, what to look out for, what all needs to be replaced that is not included in the replacement rack, how long should this take, any special tools needed. Sure appreciate any and all the help you can offer.
