I've had this happen twice now with power windows on my 87 Westfalia. They stop working. I test the switches, etc. then open up the door. I screw around for a bit and then bang the electric motors with a rubber mallet. Bingo, the windows start to work. The passenger-side window responded for only a short time but the driver side motor continues to work. Anyone know why? Thanks.
