Linda & Paul, Unless the placement of the existing holes just really doesn't make sense, I'd use the existing holes. I sure would be reluctant to drill another 8 holes into my pop top. Again, the holes will probably dictate the hardware too (maybe even the brand)... probably artificial rain gutters. Yakima and Tule are the obvious candidates, but there were others mentioned on the list last ? December or January ? You might try searching the archives for posts on racks in those mounts. As I remember there were also suggestions of less expensive places to buy them.
