I don't know of any spacers available. But you can get high quality front door speakers that will simply drop in to the stock location and clear the crank handle, with no modifications at all. I use a pair of Orions, relatively high end ($100+ a pair, as I recall) 4-inchers with dome tweeters, which fit perfectly and sound great. You will need to use an aftermarket indash, or an amp, with them to get maximum performance, since they are significantly less efficient than the stock speakers. But even with the stock head unit they are tremendously better than the low-end speakers that came in the van (albeit more expensive).
