I had a Vanagon that ran NT, it was really slow and finally crashed, I also had to upgrade to VanagonNT release 4 because release 3 was not Y2K compliant. When I used the upgrade 1st gear stopped working and the wheels had to be changed because they now conflicted with the turn signals. My mecahnic Bill said this was normal and I should expect it to crash periodicly and just come it and buy upgrades to fix the problems. I have a friend with a Vanagon Diesel that runs Linux, it can outrun V8's and gets 50 mpg. It also was free, has never crashed and can hold more people.

:)
