Hi all,

Just a quick follow up to thank everyone for their advice. I have decided to bite the bullet and do the proper fix. I ordered remanufactured heads and a gasket kit from Bus Depot yesterday. I have read Boston Bob's article on the fix, and even talked with him (he was out of remanufactured heads and I am in a time crunch or I would have placed my order with him, he was very nice and truly helpful.)

My only concern on doing this is my exhaust system. It is in very sad shape and I am concerned that it will not survive removal and reinstallation. Therefore I am considering replacing it. Any advice on replacement systems would be appreciate. I will be living in San Francisco very soon and understand they have strict emissions laws.

If anyone has advice on the doing this job or can direct me to any information on it, I would be thankful.

Thanks for all the help.
