Lighten up folks.

I have discussed Westies at length with Roy and found him to be a highly qualified restorer of VW Vans.

My advice to all is caveat emptor. Check out each potential buy personally! If there's something you don't like don't buy. I feel I can accurately assess the mileage of a vehicle +- 20K based on personal observations.

BUT the real deal here is all Westies are at least 9 years old. The 91s were built in 1990 for the most part.

It is far more important that the PO was conscientious about keeping up with things, that what the actual mileage is. I personally would rather buy a 100K well maintained, documented Syncro from Derek than a questionable 50K one from a total stranger.
