Europe also had the GTI G60, the RallyeGolf is a G60 Syncro with wide fenders, the GTI is basically a 16V with G60 engine, tranny and brakes from the Corrado. A 1990 GTI G60 is actually faster than a 1992 GTI VR6. A good friend and neigbor of mine have a GTIG60, it is terrifying fast, even in stock form. The craziest G60 VW ever made was the Golf GTI G60 Limited, only 85 cars produced. This car had a 1,8 16V G60 engine, pumping out a massive 225 hp. Just a little to drool over, maybe?
