Subject: Used Oil Heating? (very little VW content)
Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

I'm building a new garage, so I can do more of my own work on my '88. That's the end of the Vanagon content. Anyway, I'm wondering if any of you "recycle" your used oil as heating fuel. I'm planning on putting a wood burner in my garage, and I had this brainstorm about starting to save my used oil... I am concerned about environmental negatives, but I figure anything used twice is a good thing (in my own perhaps twisted way). I know they make special furnaces to use this stuff as fuel, but I'm more interested in a wood-oil combination sort of thing. Any thoughts?
