I spread a light film of petroleum jelly all around the inside of that boot.... then the back of the reflector's glass surface and the rubber boot, forms a wet grease seal, helping to keep out any moisture Condensation is a bigger problem in colder countries while running lights longer in our darker winters, personally I don't drive my camper in the winter unless I'm going south.... and that itch is quite the bugger.
