Hi all,

The post from lvlearn@MCI2000.com (Blue Eyes) got me wondering about that
parts list microfische deal someone else mentioned on the list not too long
ago (P/N 000.7360.09.21) claiming they were available from the dealers.  Well,
I called the local VW parts counter this morning and asked about price and
availability on that part number.  Of course the parts guy insisted on knowing
"my application" and what the part was.  I hate that, BTW,  when they treat
you like a moron who couldn't possibly know what part you are looking for.
Morons are like that, they think everyone else is actually the moron when in
fact they are the moron.  Word to the wise, if you find yourself always
thinking that everyone else is a moron, well......anyway.  Back to the
Microfische story.  Got your popcorn and large soft drink, good.  So I tell
the moro....I mean guy at the counter that it was the exploded views
microfische for the Vanagon.  He let out a bit of a moro....I mean regular guy
chortle and told me they don't sell those, those are only for moro...I mean VW
dealers like him, there's no way he could order one for me.

So whats the deal out there in VW land?  Has anyone actually ordered one of
these and gotten one?  If so what did you pay?  Where did you get it?  Will
you give me yours?
