Folks

Whenever I send a message to the group at the above address, vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM, the message seems to get posted, but I also get an error message reply, for example:

Subject: Mail failure Date: Sun, 21 Feb 1999 17:27:00 -0500 From: POSTMASTER@usatpoe.gannett.com To: "Laurence W. Burt" <lwburt@SPIRITONE.COM>

FROM: USATODAY/USATPOE/POSTMASTER TO: Laurence W. Burt DATE: 02-21-99 TIME: 17:28 SUBJECT: Mail failure -----------------------------------------------------------------------

[002] Mail was received that was addressed to unknown addresses. Mail item was not delivered to: USATODAY/USATPOE/FMBUNWE

What's up? Am I doing something incorrect by replying directly to "vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM" or should I just be using the "re:" function on my mail program. I thought that doing the latter would only reply to the individual rather than to the the list.

Thanks Larry Burt, lwburt@spiritone.com
