The sealant I used recently (6,000 miles back) was black for the heads and yellow for the nuts. No leaks, it is one happy engine and one happy owner. The mechanic that put the case halves together used the green sealant that he said was the best in the industry. The case is currently leaking oil.

Check your sources carefully for the quality and type of sealant you are about to use.
