Subject: fuel line problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi

I just purchased an '82 Vanagon diesel and have been fixing a few minor problems. After close inspection under the van, I noticed the small fuel line from the tank to the metal fuel line was wet and smelled strongly of diesel. There is no constant drip yet but I want to fix it before it gets worse.

Can someone tell me what size to ask for from the local NAPA auto parts store? There are 2 small clamps also. Are these VW parts or universal?

Many thanks in advance.
