The gas guy thought it may not close back up once filled?? Any >thoughts or used ones out there. There so damn pricey... I just had this problem when I got my new syncro and had the LP tank filled. After I pulled out and ran an errand or two I smelled gas. I took it back to my local RV place (Also one of the rare Dometic master service offices!), and they rebuilt my fill valve with new rubber O-rings (there looked to be about 3 or 4, of different sizes) for about $100. Apparently that style of fill valve is relatively difficult to find these days, so they made a special effort to refurbish it, rather than trying to get a new one, and it worked out o.k.
