speaking of Polo. A few months ago, Ralph Lauren (who markets Polo clothing and such) sued Polo magazine for copyright infringement. But, get this, Polo magazine has been around since the 1920s and had use of the name for DECADES (?!) before Ralph started using it. Some kind of out of court settlement was reached where the magazine was "allowed" to continue using the name and Ralph Lauren gets free advertising for life or some such crap like that.

Basically, whoever can afford the better lawyers wins.
