Ric was concerned enough to write:

<>

Ric points out that the original post's subject line could be possibly mistaken for an attempt by me to suggest that you register a name in order to keep VW from using it in the future. If anyone took this as advice on how to circumnavigate VW's right to protect their good name and trademarks I must apologize as that was not my intent. I had looked up my business' name on the Internic site and noted that it was already in use by a company down in Oregon. Noting such, I wanted to pass along my findings and suggest that you register your business' name in order to secure its usage on the internet in the future.

Sorry for any confusion that I might have inadvertently caused
