Thanks for posting information on your experiences with the Eurospec = conversion. I have an =2787 syncro camper and am trying to sort out which = conversion to do. Now that some time has passed what are your thoughts on = the conversion?

Bruce,

I=27m still pleased - there are a few issues with the throttle linkage on = the automatic, but that won=27t affect your installation.

How is your milage doing?

I=27m getting just under 20 on road trips and probably around 17-18 = commuting.

Has Eurospec addressed the vibration issue? Any advice or thoughts would = be welcome.

There doesn=27t seem to be any immediate answer to this. Kyle=27s first = line is the muffler and exhaust system preload - the installer retrofitted = a spring-loaded joint (from Overland) just ahead of the muffler - that = helped a bit, but didn=27t eliminate the buzz from the shifter. I = suggested that if he were ever in the area, he come by for a test drive.

I guess the other noise issue folks complain about is the intake =22roar=22= under heavy acceleration load. The install includes a K&N filter and a = baffle plate that causes the intake to draw air directly from the right = side air inlet (behind the side window). The harmonics must be just right = to transmit a lot of noise into the car - I=27m not that much of a = leadfoot, so I=27ve not been real bothered. (Besides, better a noise that = I understand, than one that I don=27t=21)

Thanks for your time.

Anytime=21=21
