I have got a 1.8l engine from an  '86 Jetta GLI that would be prefect for
somebody wanting to drop a sweet engine into a diesel Vanagon.  This engine
has the CIS-E injection system (allowing for higher compression) and also has
a four to two exhaust manifold.  I will sell the complete motor with wiring
harness, waterpump and hoses, intake and exhaust manifolds, injection setup,
and even alternator (if you respond quickly) for $600.  This motor has 130k
miles on it and the car was hit in the rear.  This motor would probably last
to 250k miles or it would be perfect to rebuild if you wanted to be sure of an
extra long life.  Please let me know if you are interested in this motor ASAP.
