Subject: Brake Help Please!!!!!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi there everyone,

Sorry to bother you all with this, but I'm to the point of frustration......even the Corona's aren't helping anymore..

So I was just gonna replace the rear brake pads.......

I can get the rear passenger-side wheel off, but I cannot get the drum off, no matter what. I have adjusted the geared adjuster (accessed through a hole on the inside of the brake) and loosened the parking brake up. Alas, no go...

The drum doesn't seem to be loosening from the back plate at all. I won't even go into the driver's-side.....I'm going to have to get an impact driver just to get the last two lug-nuts off.

Anybody out there know of some trick to loosening the rotors?

I guess Debbie (p.o.) was right when she said that the van had never had it's brakes serviced......*ouch*

Thanks,
