Subject: water leaking and power loss?
Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

Seems my van has been a little sluggish lately. Noticed the first signs off coolant on my garage floor this evening. Has anyon else noticed this type of connection before? Does it make sense, with a leak in the head gasket to have a decrease in power? No signs of water mixed with the oil yet. 106,000 miles. I'm thinking of trying the Barrs leak additive first, but sounds like I might be inline for a reseal, at least, and possibly even having the heads redone or replaced. Has anyone else had good luck with a coolant additive to stop the leaking? TIA, David- 91 Multi
