This message is for people on a budget.............

All of my older VW campers developed leaks in the molding around the front (& back side dog leg vent) windscreens.....I just cleaned the area up well, then applied a coat of clear silicone caulking between the glass and rubber molding..... that fixed it.... those rear side vents on the older loafs needed this done almost yearly....... of course for you more compulsive types (not on a budget)... You should replace everything that doesn't meet OEM standards, whenever it doesn't even look or sound right (your dealer will be more than glad to help you with this, don't be afraid to ask) :^)
