David, my comments were an expression of frustration, i admit, and they were true...as I was not about to use my brand new expensive lights in the relentless rains we've had in SF lately without the boots. Perhaps it would not have been so frustrating had i learned that a boot was necessary or would not be included prior to my attempts to install them. I did attempt to purchase everything necessary for installation. Anyway, i never made any negative remarks about you, only positive ones. But it was frustrating not being able to use the lights after taking all steps to ensure a quick installation upon arrival. steve
