Thank you to everyone who responded to my post. I had earlier reported that my trans mainshaft pulled out and I wasn't sure what to do about it. Thanks to your advice I was able to fix the problem and save some money (about $100). It turns out the mainshaft just needed to be screwed back on! Also, I had to replace the snapring which I found lying in the bottom of the case. While at it, I replaced the seal and pilot bearings, as several of you suggested. Whole deal was less than $20!! Thanks again for helping someone in need. You people are great!!!
