Volks - Quick question: whats the empty weight of an 83.5 Westfailia, 1.9L (kitchen, closet, popup. no a/c, one battery. white :) Am stuck in the unfortunate position of a) not being near the vehicle right now (what Bentley page?!), and b) having to (trailer) tow it from SF to northwest NV (Gerlach) instead of driving it. Was able to squeeze 168k miles on the original engine - last time up and over the Sierra was on 2 cylinders - no fun! Will be dropping the engine for a personal rebuild (and education!) and spending the summer near the playa - come visit!!! email replies, will post with the answer (suggestions on truck/trailer rental also greatly appreciated) The Playapus and I thank you veddy much. -- Bill Carson / bc@ncal.verio.com / 510 232 9116 / "clean up or die!" |
