Oh no, The 5 cylinder installation takes (additional) 3 cm only at 2WD installations, not at Syncros. In Syncros the engine is already lowerded (compared to 2WD boxers). And there is no need to lower the engine to get it inline with the tranny. Mark wrote, that there is lot of ground clearence left, more than that measured at original South African installations, makes me wonder.
