A lot of snipping here.

Both the Golf, Jetta and Beetle use a 100-5 bolt pattern and will NOT fit the Vanagon or loaf or EV. The buses use the 112-5 pattern, as do Audi (all 5-lugs), VW Passat (97-up) and Mercedes Benz vehicles. Especially because of the latter, the possibility to find some wheels to fit your Vanagon should not be too hard.
