On the topic of dealer type stickers...

...Would there be any interest in a custom sticker, that looks like a dealer
sticker, that instead of the dealer name, it signified that the owner of
that auto, (a vanagon) was a list member? I really don't know what the text
would read exactly, the web address of the archive?

Does anyone know what the number of members are on the list?

I'm new to the list and to vanagon ownership, owned many other vw's in the
past. I have learned a lot from the list and I think it needs some exposure
and recogition.

I'm in the sticker business and I could get these for cost if there was a
demand for them. I don't want to make any money just break even. I can get
1000 for about $110 (black on chrome for example, polyester not paper,) so
you can see I'm not out to profit here. But I can see it a pain for people
to send me a check for 10 cents and a SASE, both for you and me.

The size is aprox..1 7/8ths by 5 3/4 inch. My supplier catalog even shows a
sample picture of one  shape (printed) with a round vw logo off to the side
(left) of the rectangle where the text goes. I could post it ( the picture),
if there seems to be an interest for these, it does look cool. Remember the
text would be the same for all of the stickers.

Who would agree on what is printed? I don't know. Is some one in charge of
the list?

I know I'm starting what could be trouble but what the hell. I still think
some sort of visual display of where the list can be identified
(found/searched etc.) or joined, in print (on a vanagon no less) would be
cool. The list needs it i think.

Serious replies (opinions) only, would be appreciated.
