Joel - Yep, I've been thinking about that, too, up here in Creek Holler, just above Soddy Daisy, TN! This "viscous coupling" stuff, which VW patented, has some characteristics which I'm a bit suspicious about, aren't you? I read VW's patented stuff, which describes this weird viscous stuff as "solidifying when agitated"!!! THAT, alone, reminds me too MUCH of my EX-wife! I fail to see why REAL Americans couldn't contact DANA Axles and get them to some up with some simple substitute with one of their transfer-cases for this strange "viscous" shit VW has fostered off on us unsuspecting Americans!!! HELL, when I want FWD, I don't want no "viscous" shit!
