no flames please - i have run the audi 5000 turbo 15" alloy wheels on the vanagon, and all you need to do is machine the centers of the wheels (center hub hole) and run longer studs on the rear wheels (i know where to get) and run a thin spacer on the front (can get at your local auto speed shop) and then use audi 5000 lug bolts on front. ( audi 5000 lug bolts are usually a dime a dozen (literally) and theyre the same pitch dia., thickness, and length as the Carat lug bolts from the vw dealer.
