Hi Ron,

During a recent visit to Yosemite I ran into a fellow Westie'r who told me
about a fix for what she termed as "Westie syndrome". She explained that it
had something to do with the air lock and the symptoms are a sudden loss of
power, which I noticed once while driving on the highway; the rpms just
sunk, as if it were out of gas, which it wasn't. It made sense when she
described the problem about which she said I could locate information on the
web. The fix is an easy one utilizing a resistor, but as to the type or
further detail, I'm unsure. Does any of this sound familiar? Is there any
article describing the problem/solution in more detail?
